About the Artist

Jade robbins is a multi disciplinary artist from Durango Colorado. Along with her sometimes dark, sometimes iridescent, always other-worldly, visual art; she makes indie pop, rock, and folk music. With a DIY approach and openness to collaboration, Jade has created a vast catalogue of music (soon to be released) with a rotating cast of friends.

 

Now for the part where I shoehorn her in with artists that you may already know. Her music dances between the pastoral sounds of artists like Neil Young, Bright Eyes, and Fleet Foxes to the experimental electronica of artists like Grimes and Bon Iver. 

 

She doesn’t know why she makes music, but what she does know is that as much as she tries to fight it, it happens.
